Software design and documentation
Beginning with documentation for his own AutoCAD add-on products, David has been involved in software interface design and documentation for more than 30 years. In addition to manuals for his own Eclipse Software products, he has also created documentation for other companies, including:

- Vibrant Graphics
Architecture and design
David spent 10 years as a project architect for a medium-sized commercial architectural firm, where he coordinated all aspects of major projects totaling more than $250 million. As an architect, he continues to work on small and medium-size projects.
Technology integration
As an applications engineer at a large Autodesk reseller, David assisted major architecture, engineering, and construction firms in their adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies. He continues to assist AEC firms to integrate technology into their practices.
Expert witness testimony
David has served as an expert witness in multiple cases, with an emphasis on issues involving architecture, engineering, construction, and CAD/BIM technologies, including testimony at trial.
