Mariner's 100th Win

Lori and Allen managed to get tickets for the Mariners/Devil Rays game on Wednesday, September 5. Although the Devil Rays had a firm hold on last place in their division, they had managed to beat the Mariners the previous night.

Our seats were out in the left field bleachers. But Safeco Field is such a fantastic stadium, even those seats were wonderful, as you can see.

The Devil Rays scored 4 runs in the 3rd. Seattle came back with 3 runs that inning. But the Rays made it 6 to 3 in the 4th, and things weren't looking too good. Then, in the bottom of the 5th, Seattle scored 4 runs, making the score 7 to 6 for Seattle. In the following inning, Seattle scored 5 more runs, making the final score Mariners–12 / Devil Rays– 6. It was the Mariner's 100th win of the season.

Needless to say, we had a great time.
